How to train a cat
However, the channel is not very highly rated by its audiences. The biggest problem with this channel is that all the videos are too short, which makes videos not very professional, although many videos were done by professionals. I read some comments that people post under the video and many of them mentioned that the videos are too short and broken. I would agree with them. But this channel still has lots of followers. It has 634,271 subscribers. I guess this is because it has variety of topics (from kittens to ipad!) and it is free!
Since I have never had a cat before and recently got a new kitty, and the videos from this channel is just handy and easy to get I would subscribe from this channel. Moreover, it provides many other videos about different topics, I would like to know different tips and to use them in my life. The most recent posting videos are about ipad, I will watch them and expect some thing about iphone 4 from this channel!

Save Kangaroos!
Coverage
Compare to the facebook group, the Animal Friends Croatia website has fuller coverage. It talked about the reasons for killing Kangaroo, the procedures of killing and also gave the solution of how to against killing (boycotting Adidas!). Many pictures were posted to show the cruelness, so people could realize the problem. However, Facebook provides less background information concerning the whole issue, so people may not understand the previous stories. But with the posting of its members, people can see pictures, videos, and news stories to understand and can understand the current stories.
Connection
No doubt, Facebook group has much more connections than the web page. This group has 185 members, which means all of these people care about this issue, talk to each other, and posting materials of this issue. The latest wall posting of this group was just 10 hours ago. Although the web page gives people opportunity to facebook, twitter, myspace and digg it, there is no interaction available on the page. So the it has very limited connection.
Credibility
The web page is run by an organization. Therefore, it has more source credibility. The pictures on the website also adds more credibility. However, on the Facebook group, members post a large amount of materials from Youtube and News websites. These videos, stories, pictures give the group more material credibility. Moreover, it provides different perspectives to see this issue because many people join the discussion. So I will consider both of them are credible.

Privacy and Public

Jessie Lunderby is a 21-year-old Arkansas correction officer, who posed nude for Playboy's June 7th Cybergirl of the week. After her bosses learned this news, she was put on administrative leave Sunday by the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Fayetteville, Ark.
However, Jessie believed that she didn’t do anything wrong, she said, “They knew about it, I informed them about it. They had plenty of time to say no...They never said no.” And the Washington County Sheriff Tim Helder responded that, “What she did wrong is up for debate. That includes bringing down the reputation of the law enforcement division in the eyes of the public.”
This issue evoked intense discussions online, some people believed that what she did was right, she shouldn’t be fired by the Department. However, others agreed she should be fired – “not only for posing for Playboy - but for her disrespectful attitude toward her superiors which she publicly expressed.”

The discussion put pressure on both Jessie and the Department. This issue was supposed to be a private issue between Jessie and the Department, but now, be benefited from the web2.0 technology, audiences could participate in the news discussion by adding comments on the official news website, and the discussion actually made this issue more public and controversial. Sometimes this kind of online discussion could be very powerful and influential in real life.
Web2.0 application on journalism makes citizen journalists become possible. Audiences not only look at news stories from professional journalists’ perspective, they also can see other audiences’ opinions on the same issue by reviewing the comments under each piece of news. More important, they can actively engaged into the news by posting their own thoughts on the comments section. At last, the news websites also provide many other ways (Facebook, Twitter and blog) for people following the news and conducting further discussion.
